Windsor Garden willow tree breaks a limb

Over by the southwest edge of the property, we have some beautiful gnarly old willow trees overlooking the slough at highway 99.

Last week, during our heavy winds, one of those gorgeous willows broke a large branch, threatening to destroy the fence underneath. Council was notified by a resident. A local certified arborist was quickly dispatched to deal with the damaged tree.

The arborist recommended that we trim back some of the others that have dead branches to avoid a similar problem. Council has authorized that work.

The willows, along with cedars and other trees, line the walking path in that part of the property, one of the lovely benefits of this complex.
