During the 2026 AGM, Windsor Garden owners authorized a project to repaint all the doors and main fascia areas throughout the complex.
Curb appeal is the most important driver of property values for a townhome complex. Cleanliness and paint condition follows only landscaping in importance when it comes to how people evaluate a strata property when they are looking to buy.
You could spend a fortune on interior renovations but if the outside of the complex as a whole looks as if it isn’t being well maintained, people will hesitate to buy a townhouse. Thus, painting the complex was a wise decision by the owners.
At first glance, our garage doors looked generally white, though there were inconsistencies. Just how badly they had faded was not fully apparent until you saw the new paint being put onto the doors.

ProWorks Painting offered the lowest bid by a reputable company. They also quoted the use of the highest quality outdoor paint by any vendor, assuring council that the paint would be less likely to be affected by the infamous black tire dust that floats around our complex due to the nearby highway.
ProWorks is expecting to finish the project by the end of October. The timeline is somewhat dependent on weather. The company is keeping a careful eye on weather conditions and even works on weekends when weather is good to optimize the completion schedule.
They are also cataloging all the areas of damaged or rotten fascia boards so that council can take action to replace these going forward.
